From the initial lighting design concept stage with our clients to the supply of the hand-selected light fittings, this was a thoroughly gratifying project in which we had the privilege to be involved in. Working alongside such positive, dynamic & talented teams such as the architect, builder, electrical contractor and smart home integrator was incredibly inspiring.
The brief from the client was ‘elegant yet relaxed, classy yet not ostentatious’ – a true reflection of their personalities – honest, hard-working & a successful family with a fun-filled attitude towards life.
We wanted to be sympathetic to the style of the original build & new architectural design but also incorporate an element of modern luminaire & lamp technology – energy-efficient lamp sources with superior quality CRI, lumen output & performance. The selections were based on a combination of the Hampton & Classic Queenslander styles from our suppliers in the States as well as a selection from our local Australian partners.
